Review summary
The cruise was as expected--mostly good. What was NOT good was the 2 1/2 hour (standing) wait in line to go through the boarding process. I was so stiff and sore from standing so long, that the first two days of the cruise were not as much fun as they could have been. Although the service was good, much of the time the food was not hot when it was served in the dining room. My last complaint is that the scheduled show times added insult to injury. Having to endure the late dining schedule, we also were scheduled for the shows AFTER dining--which started at 10:30 p.m. The ship itself, the staff, and the entertainment were all good.Ship experiences

Ship tip
Because Carnival often books to capacity, ALL lines were long and there is no "wiggle room" as far as upgrades are concerned.
