it was okay but not great.

the ship was nice. the prices for the photos taken were ridiculous. we also couldn't find some of our photos when we went to buy them. they were there the first night and no where to be found the next so that was very disappointing. not sure we would have bought them all anyway because of the outrageous prices. i think everyone would buy them all if they were reasonably priced since there are so many. i also think it was pretty lame that some activities required \"extra fees.\" i mean, i think we paid enough to take the cruise so i don't feel it appropriate it pay extra for fun stuff.

Pros: the entertainment staff jacques\, jay and jenna

Cons: waiters would never serve you water; no healthy food options for kids; kids club hours didn't match adult showtimes

Recommends Carnival Freedom? No.

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
great food. troy was an awesome waiter. we loved him.
Cabin / Stateroom
the shower water kept spilling all over the bathroom floor so our floor was soaking wet pretty much the whole trip.
Service and Staff
the entertainers were fabulous. the wait staff in the showroom was not fabulous. we asked for water 4 times and they kept saying sure and it never came... every single time we were there for a show/activity. i know water is free but when you have dehydrated / overheated children\, water is a must and we couldn't leave them alone to go get it. this was very unacceptable... on the other end of the spectrum\, the hosts jacques\, jay\, jenna and the rest of the entertainers were awesome. i loved them all.
loved jacques\, jay and jenna the best. also john rothbone. the other john was awful. he went on and on about the same joke every time... we were also pretty angry that the kids club hours didn't mirror adult showtimes so we had to miss many of the adult shows since the kids club was closed.
Children's Programs
my son has a food allergy and can not eat pizza... so we asked them to please get him a burger or chicken tenders. they said yes but they didn't so all he had all day was french fries. this is unacceptable. more healthy food options need to be available. just pizza is gross and ridiculous... no wonder most children are obese because all they get served is pizza and soda... we were also pretty irritated that the kids club times didn't coincide with the adult showtimes. we couldn't see the end of many of the shows because the kids club closed and we had to leave to get the kids. so i would definitely recommend working out a schedule where parents can see all the adult shows and the kids club stays open until they are over. that was pretty absurd.
