Review summary

Overall, it was an OK cruise. Food was average and wait staff at dinner was overwhelmed with too many tables..but they did their best and were a joy. Midnight Party on deck was pre-empted by folks watching the Maimi heat basketball game. There was very little dancing which I remember doing quite a bit of during our last carnival cruise. Disco was dead and required your license to get in. They had a live band in a small area outside Casino - but a very small dance floor and lots of SMOKE - since this was a smoking area. The ship did get a good spot at all the ports of call.

Lots of comedians... which we liked.. but lack of party atmosphere at night with dancing wasn;t there. Nor did they seem to encourage it.

I enjoyed the Serenity part of the boat, the water slide and the layout such that you could watch movies on the top deck and they also showed a beach seen during the day - which was pretty cool.
