Review summary
The Carnival Freedom cruise to Key West, Ocho Rios and Grand Cayman was nice. We had a really good time. The decor of the ship's lobby and other common areas was not as beautifiul as I am used to seeing on other Carnival ships. Because the Freedom is an older ship, I should have expected that. The decor of the stateroom, however, was great. The service the ship's staff provided from housekeeping to room service to dining room service was excellent. In addition, the ship was very clean. The shows and planned activities were just okay -- again, not as good as I have previously experienced on other Carnival ships. Nevertheless with all things considered, we had a good time.Ship experiences

Pros: Food in the Chic and Posh Dining Rooms, the size of the cabins, room service, housekeeping service, and ports of call
Cons: The lobby decor was not as impressive as other ships, the shows were just okay and the planned activities could have been a little more interesting.
