The ship was bright and cheerful and clean. The staff were very friendly and always greeted you in passing even if the were not part of our floor. The daily Fun TImes was great info to be sure you were aware of what was going on each day.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I was traveling with another family - they were able to choose "anytime" dining and I was told by my travel agent that it was not an option that a early or late seating must be chosen. It was good in the end - met some great people and hung out with them a bit more than just dinner! The dining room team staff was great! Always a smile and everything just the way you requested it. Food appropriate for both adults and children.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We are not big on going to the pool so we looked for alternative activies. The kids found basketbal, volleyball, golf. We were always welcome in the common areas to hang out and play cards or just chill with fellow cruisers. The evening shows were fabulous - especially the 'R' rated evening....I laughed so hard!

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
The kids participated in some of the age appropriate activities. However the activities seemed to mostly be geared toward girls and then there was video games. It was good that the kids could have the choice to come an go as they pleased.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All staff were friendly regardless if they were assigned to our area. Many times they could answer your question before you asked, and was always happy to stop to answer a question.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It was a little confusing when you could not get from one end of the ship to the other when on the restaurant levels, but in the end it all made sense.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
There were 2 children and 1 adult -- the room was a bit tight. It was great to have a balcony so that you could separate from the small room any time you wanted. There was plenty of closet & drawer space. Bathrooms very clean. We were located on the Verandah deck (#8) - the Lido deck (where everything happened) was on the 9th floor -- didn't need to wait for an elevator!

Ports of call

Key West, Florida

We decided to do a self guided tour of the city. We walked the streets and were not really impressed so much. Unfortunately when we were there the stores did not have electricity so it was dim and hot in the shops.
Don't Miss: I've heard that snorkling was good in Key West.

George Town, Grand Cayman

We took the Semi-Submarine which was good for the kids - they were a bit frightened of going down on a submarine. If you are likely to get sea sick, this may not be the tour for you. After 1 hour we were all ready to get off the boat. We then went snorkeling. All have a great time!

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

5 out of 5
Dunn's River Falls is the place to see. It was hot so climbing the falls was refreshing for the kids, and the adults who didn't want to climb in the water were able to safetly follow the kids along up the stairways - but could wade a little in the falls too! We had a guided tour through the rain forest. It was beautiful! We took lots of pics.
Don't Miss: Dunn's River Falls

Pros: Not needing to worry about anything -- r&r

Cons: Getting up early every day
