Review summary

Room steward was awesome, service was almost invisible. Dining room steward was a different story. Food was always cold and we were always served late. Steward was having a bad cruise the entire time and we paid the price. One of our dining companions had an insect in her food and it was barely acknowledged. Ship layout was tough. You had to go up from DECK 3 and then back down to get to the atrium on the oher side. This is cruise #8 for me and the first and last on Carnival.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Nasty and cold food.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The assistant cruise director (AKA Big Sexy) was a blast.

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
Asked for Matire'D on two occasions and was ignored. Purser staff was quite rude. One of our dining companions was served dinner with an insect and another had a table in the shopping rea fall on her foot and you would think thye sould have gotten more acknowledgement than a form letter.

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
Not a good fowing layout for the dining rooms to the other pulic rooms.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Stateroom (balcony cabin) was small, I don't see how the larger passengers got around if two average sized people found it close.

Ports of call

George Town, Grand Cayman

3 out of 5
Love the Grand Caymans

Key West, Florida

1 out of 5
OK port, nothing special.

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

1 out of 5
Nasty and smelly

Pros: The shows
