Review summary

Half Moon Cay was a fantastic surprise! Seems like every cruise we take one of the main goals is to get to a nice beach but it costs a fortune, or take an excursion, or has some obstacle to overcome. Half moon cay was a short tender ride to the beach, a fantastic one. No hustle and bustle just beach and beach chairs with some fun opportunities if you re interested.

Cigarette smoke was a problem. The whole ship filtration was near our stateroom and our room always smelled of smoke and especially if we turned on the ac. Staff tried to help but the whole ship was affected by the smell of cigarettes. Didn't like that at all.

Cigarette smoke was a big deal. Our room reeked at all times especially if we turned on the ac. Staff ran special filter in our room but it didn't help. The ship filtration system was right near our room evidently.

Amazing. Made the entire trip. Would go to that destination alone for days if possible.

Izzybee yes there were. Walk past the information desk they are closer to the left side before you reach the beach. My husband believes they was a $7 fee to use them.

Izzybee I didn't see any. But your stuff is safe by your chair on the beach. Your not really going to have anything valuable with you but just a few dollars(for drinks if you want them) because there are no real shopping areas or anything to purchase on HMC. We had a cabana and never worried about our stuff...but we did choose the very last cabana in order to stay away from the crowds at the start of the beach where the bar and food were. This is a private uninhabited Island owned by Carnival...no locals except for the ones who work the excursions for carnival.
