Review summary
The Fascination was a smaller ship, but still felt large and so much to do. So many shows, but we really enjoyed the musical entertainment (Anchor Management). Literally spent every night at the Star Bar listening to them play classic 80's and 90's hits. Service in the Sensation Dining area was spectacular and certainly enjoyed the entertainment provided by the staff. It was a birthday cruise for me and the wait staff added that little extra with a dessert and sang 'Happy Birthday'. Both ports (Nassau and Half Moon Cay) were so fun, and even though we did not buy excursions before-hand, we had a blast renting a scooter in Nassau and checking out beaches, a local conch shack (first time trying conch salad and it was AMAZING!), and met some awesome and super friendly locals. The Cay was a major relaxing day. Walked along the whole beach and then napped near the shore with the waves to lull us into a nap in the sun. Bar staff was incredibly attentive. THE ONLY issue I can say we had was the lack of attention to service in the Serenity Spa area. Hardly saw anyone walking around taking drink orders, and both days we were at sea, we were in that area for most of the day (hence the 4 instead of 5 star rating). Our stewards really made us feel special (Argus, I think was his name), greeting us by name every time we entered or left the cabin and he was in the vicinity. All in all, fabulous vacation, and we are eagerly awaiting our next.
