Review summary
Overall wonderful experience. Don't expect top notch entertainment, but the staff is excellent and the ship is run well.
The easy transition from fun to food to relaxation was probably the best part of the trip. If we were hungry there was 24 hour pizza, several grills and buffets throughout the day, and a formal dining room for sit-down breakfasts and dinners. Though the food at the buffets/grills were hit and miss, the food in the restaurants was always delicious. We opted for assigned dining so that we ate with the same people every night and had the same server. It was really nice getting to know everyone and to form a relationship with our server, who on top of being incredibly kind and professional would also perform for us and sing songs on birthdays and anniversaries.
It felt like magic how quickly and easily they picked up after the guests throughout the ship and cleaned our room while we were out having fun. I got so used to being pampered that it felt strange paying for each little transaction and not having things automatically cleaned up for me the first day I got home! It was easy to forget how much work went into each of these little moments, which means they did a fantastic job. Remember to tip well!
