Review summary
This was our first cruise, and thanks to multiple messaging boards we use some great packing suggestions, (over door shoe holder) and had reasonable expectations. This particular boat seem tired. I realize the decor was "Old Hollywood Glamour" but that just made it dated even before it left dock the first time.
The positive were friendly staff, clean and well tended boat, and non stop food. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the Mongolian Wok. Reliable entertainment. Half Moon Cay was great. Snorkeling excursion superb, and the Segway in Nassau fun. Cabins roomy, loved our balcony! and beds slept well, even if the mattresses were a bit firm. The comedy was sastifying, and the Diva show was fun and well choreographed.
Improvements could be made in the quality of food, it seemed to diminish over the course of the trip, till we were just about at Golden Corral/Shoneys level, even in the Main Dining rooms. The coffee was not good. I tolerated it, but did end up at the coffee shop to savor a real coffee occaisionally.
The disco was dissapointing. There were plenty people in attendance whom obviously wanted to dance, but song after song of "rap music" kept most if not all of the people shy of the dance floor. When even the drunk chicks whom shake their booty at anything, won't get up and dance, well your're horrible as a DJ. Consequently more people left, than sticking around to buy more drinks.
The pools on the deck are very small. It was people soup most of the cruise. The serenity deck was nice, and if the lounges were full, you just had to wait a bit, and some would become available. Since the serenity deck is aft of the ship at mid level, the was very little breeze back there. So 95 degree days became quicly overwhelming.
The Passage to India space seemed empty and under utilzed. Why not do Bingo there rather that all along the promanade.
The photography and the shops seemed crass and tacky, but that's just my personal opinion, but it seem to give as used car lot vibe to the ship. At little to pushy and desperate.
Overall, it was a good first cruise experince to get our feet wet, but our next cruise will more than likely include an addition 3 hours driving to depart from Port Canaveral to try a different ship.

Ship tip
Big boat, was suprised to hit my 14000 step goal every day. We stay near the aft of the ship, handy to stairwells, came in very handy.
