Review summary
We took our first cruise on Carnival Fascination. I was a bit apprehensive, having never been on a cruise before, but I quickly found out there was no reason for concern. This was the best vacation ever! The staff aboard the Fascination were so very attentive and helpful. Each one that we came in contact with was very friendly, courteous, and went above and beyond the call of duty, to help us in any way they could. Many of them even called us by name! The ship was cleaned and well-cared- for. Everywhere we went, someone was constantly cleaning something. Our stateroom was always very well cared for by our cabin attendant. We enjoyed our days in port as well as our days at sea. We even booked our next cruise, and had a wonderful experience with the onboard booking agent, Maria. While in port, with other ships, we noticed how much nicer, and cleaner our Carnival ship was. We also noticed that it had so many more open decks, while the others had decks that were enclosed with glass. We will always choose Carnival for future cruises.

Ship tip
We loved all the outside, open decks. We enjoyed watching a meteor shower there one evening!
