Review SummaryRooms smelt musty, Guest services were training people and things were entered incorrectly and it messed us up on when attemped to buy items on private island and on the ship which was quite embarassing. Being told on private island not to come back to an area where we were trying to get water and drinks in front of others did not help us enjoy. It wasn't until later that we heard it was people who paid their deposits with cash that this happened too. Nothing was done to accomodate, guest services were actually quite rude. Hearing someone state..." Do you know how many people we serve everyday? Even when you all get off in a few hours we have a whole new set of people to serve for the next cruise. So in turn, since there is so much turnover, they have their guaranteed money customer service is not important. When we went to Nassau, we needed a wake up call since the wake up call feature on the phone were not working. Call Guest Services so we wouldn't miss our exursion to Atlantis for the Dolphin Deep Water Trip and we never got the wake up call. Almost missed the excursion. Was very disappointed. I went on Carnival in 2000 and went to another liner and when we saw this ship was going out of Jacksonville, thought we would try again. I would much prefer to drive a few extra hours (after driving 12 hours straight) and hop on another liner after seeing that the customer does not matter. We also ordered stuff for our honeymoon and room was never done. Very disappointing. I've been on 6 cruises but this was my husbands first. Ruined the experience for him.
