25th memorable wedding anniversary

Sail Date: October 18, 2008

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship has been referbished and it looks great. This was our 25th wedding anniversary and the staff was always helpful and very attenitive to our every need. Our room was comfortable and the bed was awsome! very comfortable and clean! We had some problems when boarding, our sail and sign cards were missing, so we weren't able to enter our room or purchase anything to drink, and we spent a lot of time running around to straighten this out, so we missed lunch and had to go straight to the drill. It took 2 1/2 days to get it straightened out, but the cruise, the ship and the staff worked very hard to clearify this problem. We like that this ship sails from Jacksonville, it makes our trip to the port so much closer and easier. I would recommend this cruise to everyone! All the shows were tops! We hope to return again in the future.

Pros: We enjoyed that there were so many choices of meals that anyone could be pleased with.

Recommends Carnival Fascination? Yes!

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)
This was a beautiful Island set up so you could just come, sit and relax and enjoy the beautiful clear water. Food was brought onto the island and while relaxing you smelled the wonderful foods cooking.
Don't Miss: Don't miss the horse back riding
Nassau, Bahamas
This is our third visit back to the Bahama's we suggest going to the Atlantis hotel go see the pyramid and the water slide that goes under the shark exhibit.
Don't Miss: Don't miss the straw market if you are looking for bargins
