Review summary

Unfortunately, this was my least favorite cruise. I have only had good experiences with Carnival, so I do not think that this ship indicates anything on the line as a whole. I was simply unhappy with how aged the boat was and the lack of entertainment for a full 2 days at sea.

This is the 1st cruise I have ever been on that I went to bed hungry. The main dining room staff was awesome. The food, though, was not so great.

Onboard Activities

The Serenity deck (21 and over) was the best. There was not a lot of room, and younger guests kept coming over, which was annoying. The slides were pretty cool and added the extra level of fun.

Entertainment

The Motown show was great! We left during the other shows because they were average at best. I did enjoy cruise director Mikey and his shenanigans!

Service and Staff

Herry did an awesome job as our room steward! He greeted us with a smile every morning when we left our room- and was still in the halls cleaning when we came back at the end of the day. That guy was always working to keep guests happy!!!

Ship Quality

This ship looked like it was ready to fall apart. Our room had disgusting black something on the walls. There were several bathrooms that I purposely avoided because they were filthy. And the smell... we were taking bets on whether the sewage backed up or If there was a dead body decomposing somewhere in the hall.

Cabin / Stateroom

The size was great, one of the larger ones I have stayed in. I was also impressed with the shower size. Herry kept it clean for us. However, there was a nasty black mess around the door and sticky black gunk on the wall above the bed.

Ship tip

This is a smaller boat. So I was not surprised how rocky it felt. But that made spending a full day at sea uncomfortable. Choose a bigger boat if you want to relax on a sea day.
