Review summary

We really enjoyed this cruise! The staff for the most part was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the food and entertainment and the comedians. We would recommend this cruise and would definitely take it again!

It was ok. This was my first cruise and I was unsure where to go. I feel that the staff could have been a bit more helpful getting me where I needed to be. Everyone at the desk checking me in was great...very helpful!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

The staff at Guy's Burgers was incredibly rude. Everywhere else was pretty good! We used the Lido deck buffet several times. I have food allergies but was able to find plenty to eat. Our best experience was in the Jubilee Dining Room mainly because of our waiter/server, Sujantana (Su). He was amazing! He made our cruise experience much more enjoyable!

Onboard Activities

We enjoyed the activities at night. The activities during the day seemed to be geared more towards kids than adults.

Entertainment

The comedy club was great! We saw two different comedians and they both kept us rolling. The Motor City show was awesome! I enjoyed the various bands that played on the 9th deck.

We were amazed at how the staff remembered our names and which other guests we were traveling with. Sujantana (Su) in the Jubilee Dining Room was amazing! Made our dining/cruise experience so much better. We enjoyed his company so much that we chose to go to the Jubilee every night we were there so we could cut up with him. Housekeeping staff was very friendly and efficient. We ordered room service once. Food came out quick and the server was very friendly!

Layout was a little hard to navigate at first...but once you learned how everything was set up it was pretty easy. I feel like more "you are here" maps would be useful.

Ship tip

Get to know your ship! Knowing how to navigate will save you time! The elevators are very slow...take the stairs! Everything costs money...be prepared to spend!
