Review summary
Sorry to inform you that this was one of the most disappointing cruises we ever went on with Carnival. Once again we were not able to go on one of the islands which was owned by Carnival due to weather. We had another couple with us and this happened to us 9 years ago( on Carnival) as well with one of our same guest ( Steven Williams). He was very disappointed because this was his second cruise since the one we took 9 years ago . He says he will never cruise again with Carnival. We realize no one is to blame for the weather, however Carnival did not offer any benefits or alternatives to make up for this loss. We got nothing not even a free tee shirt. That was a lot of money that people saved up for vacation and to be disappointed and not get what you paid for is unacceptable. Carnival should have some kind of reimbursement policy if they want VIFP Customers. We are gold club members and will now use other cruise lines going forward, due to their lack of good customer service. When we arrived to our stateroom there was only towels for two people, knowing we had beds for three and we did not receive the needed set until late that night. We also could not get our clothes dry cleaned until the next day because the service ended at 5pm, even though we didn't get our luggage until 4:50pm. We also had a bad experience with the lady who checked in our purchases after returning from the Bahamas, she was not polite and when we asked her where do we pick up our purchase, she replied " read the form, which was a poor copy with half the words missing" . We must say most pass experiences with carnival have been good and is why we are VIFP, and we hope Carnival would consider a discount or something towards another cruise in the near future to keep us as VIFP's and our friends would have another opportunity to get the good service they are known for. Thank you
David & Sherry
PS. On a good note our son age 13, enjoyed the Circle C activities and staff, and our dinner staff was awesome!

If you want to use a hot tub free of children and crowds, use the serenity deck.

If you go to an amusement part and it rains all day? Are you going to blame the park because it rained?
The hot tubs in the common packed with children should be controlled by the parents, not the ship staff. There are signs posted on those hot tubs about the age limits. Where were the parents?
I believe there are three facts to the difference two people, your side, the side of the lady and what exactly took place.
I'm a VIFP too and I understand ports can change without getting a refund.
