Review summary

Just amazing small ship allows you to get to know your Capitan, Crew and Cruise Director. It's our favorite ship not only because we met on the Elation in 2006 but because she is small and easy to navigate as well as get to know everyone on a different level than you can on a big ship... We've made life long friends on the Elation and looking forward to meeting many more!

Embarkation

People at Embarkation were awesome all with BIG Smiles and Friendly Hellos!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Bad - No Specialty Dining on Elation Good EVERYTHING else! Elation food and beverage staff are amazing. I dare you to not get to know your Dining room staff

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Fun Fun Fun... Cruise directors make what on other ships "dull" time FUN TIMES on the Fun Ships... From Dance Off's to "Adults Only Quests" let the good times roll. For us (No Kids) we loved the Serenity Deck for Hot Tub and Sun.. With kids check out the Lido Deck when your kids aren't Fully Entrenched in Camp Ocean.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We've seen the "Epic Rock" show several times on Multiple Ships and this was the Best One Yet!

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
I didn't have kids on this Cruise (I've had them in the past) and Camp Ocean is the Best thing you will ever do for your kids (AND YOURSELF)

Service and Staff

Cabin / Stateroom

BIG Ol' window just above the water line all the way rear of the ship (aft) if you like the "motion of the ocean" like we do getting rocked to sleep every night so you can sleep like a baby... then this is a GREAT room for you R204

Ship tip

Do the "Behind The Fun" Tour you'll be glad you did!

Ports of call

Jacksonville, Florida

Great City if you are in town early or staying a day after the Cruise check out Moon River Pizza for funky fun and very flavorful pizza place. Ask about their "Special" shaker of seasoning when they bring the Pizza to your table.

Nassau, Bahamas

We love Scuba Diving with Stuart's Cove... If you Dive, book your excursion early!

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island) Did not visit port

Spent the Day in the Spa

Disembarkation

Smooth and Easy! We were delayed by weather getting into port so when we did make it they did everything right to keep us entertained and happy till we could finally dock.... Then we got off lickety split and all the porters on the ground waiting were incredible.
