Review summary

Boarding. Pretty smooth. No complaints. A lot of guests to handle so no complaints. I did bring my own bags on - was around 1pm. Glad I did Steward. 3 out of 5 starts. Just did the basics. Chris did not wow me. Example glad above sink never got cleaned by him. Glass alway dirty. If he cleaned the tower. You would think he would close it. Not sure if he cleaned it. Was always all lids open. First time having a inside cabin which was a bad kind of liked the darkness. Sadly woken up by the announcements from the speakers in the hallway. I think the speakers in the stateroom hallway should not be turned on till after 930 or 10 AM. Casino: Amazing. All staff 5 stars. I truly liked them all. Spent a lot of time do the casino. Good Table game options. Opened a table for me. Just hate smokers. Food: Average. Nothing that wow’d. No speciality restaurants. Staff 5 stars. Was on anytime finning so what always had new waitstaff I think next time I’ll get a set early time for dinner so the staff and I can get to know each other and they get to see what I like and dislike. All the staff did great. Maître d’ five star as well. Pizza. Just ok. Made very thin so Ii cook’s real fast. Hamburger joint was great and the staff that a good job making the lines move. Room service food was pretty good. No complaints. Shows. Found the piano bar the last night which was great The comedians one was Aaron and he was awful but the other guy Macio was amazing. Shows ran a little short though. Under 25 minutes. Sadly Macio was sick the last day. 2shows Arron took over. Awful. Kristy the host was awesome. Fun Asian gal. Loved her. Diva show. Just found singers not to be on pitch and it seemed the had their vocals down on purpose on the Mics. But the 2nd show Epic Rock show was great. They had violinist playing in the atrium. Loved them. Actives were great. Bingo prizes are very weak any do not like the bringing for example saying $5000 price which is hardly ever won since they say you have to get full board under a number of all s that are called. Chance to win 1000$ on another but you have to pick the right envelope otherwise $250 Feel you are paying to go on a cruise have fun they get your money from joining the cruise so why do thry have to make so much at the activities like bingo. I’ll probably just bring my own cards next time so I can play without spending 50 bucks each time. I consider myself a winner by not spending if I do with my own card lol Cruise host. Chris. 5 star s. Love him. A port got canceled and he jumped and it made more activities with the staff and his personality was great. Trivia, line dance instruction. Great , love and marriage show was hilarious. Trivia game etc. All ran well. Had fun Bar/drinks: no shortage. Very easy to get drinks. The staff Ronde asked often and we’re very nice. I didn’t have a drink package which I’m glad it did not. WiFi. Good for basic emails but otherwise even the top package you wish you had a satellite of your own. I couldn’t get anything done work wise Onboard. I got the premium package hate to see you at the standard package speed was. Really couldn’t do much. Southwest app no luck Etc etc. No luck using. Stocks app. No luck. Toon blast no luck connecting. Just awful. Weather. / ports. Obviously not their fault but wasn’t too good and Bimini was canceled. They said it was too rocky to dock safely so we turn around and to go home. Drizzle to rain 50% of the trip. Freeport port Port stop was a waste. Salon: Not so great. Lady tried to dye my hair and I believe washed it out too quickly maybe under 10 minutes so didn’t take much. She tried again and then disappeared for 40 minutes I had to go looking for her. My hair color is way too dark and very disappointing. The dye was left in way too long. She made it seem like she had years and years of experience but I didn’t see it. Debarkation : snuck off with the platinums exit. Just mixed in with them not knowing when they opened the stanchion I haas just following them. Highly recommend using a cart guy before going thru customs if there is a long line. Just a few $ a bag will help you get out in prob under 5 mins Vs 30 perhaps more minute line when I arrived to this area. My tip: My suggestion is don’t leave out of Jacksonville close to winter time as this cruise doesn’t go anywhere south of the line of Miami so the weather doesn’t really warm up much. No 80s for us on this trip. Look at a map. Found guests to be real nice. No TikTok arguments to be found. No people complaints. I did like the smaller ship style….the oldest one in Carnival‘s fleet.
