It was a nice quick cruise. The weather was nice, and sea was so calm. We had a great time. We would go again!
Embarkation

Very fast. There were lots of emails to get us to use verifly, which was having issues, we did get it working, but got to the port and carnival wasnt using it because they were having issues. But it was maybe 10 min check in excluding waiting for the ship to be ready for boarding.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Food was good. Hadn't been on short cruise in a while, seemed like cheaper dishes. But all was done well and tasty.
Onboard Activities

It's a smaller ship, but still has alot. But due to covid, most of the activities were shopping related or trivia, to keep crowds down.
Entertainment

Had all the usual carnival shows. While this is am older ship so ot doesn't have the latest tech or props, the shows were great.

Ship Quality

I always enjoy the fantasy class. It's a smaller ship, but carnival has done a great job updating them. Elation has really been updated, the staterooms feel modern, the public spaces have been updated, the ship looks clean and fresh.
Cabin / Stateroom

Great cabin. Recently updated to the beachy carribean feel that's in the newer ships. This room was modified from an ocean view to a balcony, and couldn't tell. The balcony was nice with great views. The room was good size for 2 people, it dosent have a couch area like some of the newer ships, but was perfectly great.
Easy on easy off. Neat to see all the space port stuff. SpaceX docks all their ships right there. It's possible if the timing is right to see a rocket being unloaded off the droneships. This time we only got to see them dock and a little repainting on the droneship. A couple rocket fairings were at the dock. We did see ULAs rocketship docked there but they were moving any equipment at the time.
So we have been to nassau many times, but this was the best. We went to blue lagoon. It's a private island about 30 min ferry ride away. We had a great experience interacting with their sealions, which was amazing. The beach area was beautiful. It had chairs and umbrellas and it wasn't had to fine a little place to our selves. The blue lagoon staff were extra nice and helpful.
We enjoyed our day. We went to the quieter Soutb side. Snorkeling off the was better than expected but it not a reef. A few corals on the rocks, and a good number of fish. The food was only ok, and the kitchen was closed on the south side so we had to go the busier north side. We rented a clamshell, they can be pretty warm, but they were cool with you adjusting the and lifting clamsshell to stay shady and let the breeze in.
Best debarkation ever! 10-15 min ship to car. Once we got in the line we never stopped moving. There was absolutely no line at customs for those with passports, thanks to facial recognition, it was literally look at a camera and go!
