Carnival Elation

4 Night Bahamas (Port Canaveral Roundtrip)

Sail date: October 21, 2021

Ship: Carnival Elation

Traveled as: Couple

Review summary

We had a absolute blast. For an older ship, it was in very decent shape.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was very fast, from curbside to the lido deck with drink in hand took about 20-25 minutes

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
MDR food and service was VERY poor, but being that this was only the 3 cruise for the Elation after being out of service for almost 2 years we didn't hold that against them, we are sure they will be up and running to normal quality soon. Guys Burgers was on point, delicious as always

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We sailed at about 60% capacity, which we really enjoyed. The pool never got too crowded, lounge chairs on the lido deck were fairy easy to obtain, and there was never a time on board that we felt like we were standing in onto of each other.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Endi, our room steward, was AMAZING. Paulie the Cruise Director was great. Luisa in the Alchemy Bar was Phenomenal. Our MDR staff, with time, will hopefully improve.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was VERY clean, everywhere you looked, there was a crew member cleaning something.

Cabin / Stateroom
