Review summary

60% full, seemed like we had the boat to ourselves. Typical carnival food fair. Had to be fully vaccinated, and she proof. Needed a COVID-19 test 2 days prior to sailing. No real problem to we were cruising again!!!!

Embarkation

Arrived early, quick through the queue, and to the seats. Once boarding started, group C was called in about 20 minutes. Later found this cruise was about 60% full. This was the first cruise for the ship in 18 months. And for the crew.

Didn't have in room seating except for vanity stool. Other than that, room was good. Was in the aft, so did occasionally got the exhaust smell

Amber cove (carnival Pier) is nice. Did a 30 minute ride to excursion. The catamaran snorkel was a bust. Rough seas as this is the North side of the island. Not an excursion for kids or one with mobility issues

Can't do a zero. Don't bother doing the self luggage. We got off the same time as luggage tag 10 was called.

Thanks for the review, don't understand the rush to get off the ship, I wait and relax until last call, then walk off with no crowds,and easily retrieving luggage

Need to add that carnival seems to be a Pepsi boat. For us, rum and Pepsi is a non starter. Nor is a long island iced tea made with Pepsi. Does anyone know if you bring your own coke, if the bar staff will be able to use that?

Surprised self assist disembarkation wasn't the fastest way off the ship for you. Glad you enjoyed your first cruise back. Great to be cruising again!
