Review summary

Getting my kids from Michigan and my parents from Iowa out of the cold and to the Bahamas was made perfect by Carnival. It was my kids second cruise and they loved it. We are all booked for this summer to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary.

Embarkation

Leaving out of Port Canaveral was so easy. Stayed at a local hotel with shuttle service to the port. Once there with FTF my elderly parents and my kids and I were on board in less that 20 minutes!!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Guys Burgers for lunch and the Blue Iguana for breakfast burritos was hard to beat. MDR each night for a nice sit down meal getting dressed up was fun. The food was good this cruise but not as good as last years MDR dishes. Not sure why?!?

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The fitness center was clean always, just wished this ship had an outdoor track to jog on each morning.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
My kids would take off to the kids clubs and ditch me. I’d check in with them on the carnival hub app.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our service was always wonderful. Bartenders, MDR staff, room stewards all went that extra mile.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
This is one of the older ships in the fleet and it shows. The renovations are nice but she shows her age. This ship is one of the smaller ones as well. That’s good and bad. Not having a megaship with 5000 people is nice and cozy but you also don’t have all the fun bells and whistles.

Cabin / Stateroom

Ship tip

Don’t expect the fanciest of ships with all the bells and whistles. However she sails to fun places and it’s easy to find quiet places to relax.
