This was our best family vacation to date. First time cruisers going in.....lifelong cruisers coming out.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Stayed at Radisson at the Port and used their shuttle service. We were first time cruisers and everything went smoothly with Faster To The Fun.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Everything was great! We did the MDR on formal night and on the last sea day. Guys burgers were great of course but the hidden gem is the buffalo chicken sandwich at the deli.
Onboard Activities

Great!
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We saw all of the Playlist Production shows and they were great. Both comedians were exceptional...we went to the Punchliner every night. Alex the CD was amazing as were the rest of the Fun Squad. The Atrium parties were the highlights of the week and the sail away party was a blast!
Children's Programs
5 out of 5
We cruised with our 17 and 13 year olds. Our oldest never went to Club O2 but our youngest loved Circle C and spent a lot of time there making new friends.
Service and Staff

Exceptional all around!
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Very clean and easy to get around.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Very clean and well laid out. There were 4 of us so 2 upper pullmans were used. We didn’t find it too crowded. There is a duplex receptacle and 2 USB charging slots at the table and 2 additional USB slots beside the bed. Cabin is equipped with a fridge which kept beverages cool but not cold. The beds were very comfortable and the AC worked well.
Ship tip
Get off the ship early in Grand Turk to secure the free loungers/umbrellas or you’ll be paying for them.
We just did a beach day in Grand Turk. The beach and water are spectacular. My only issue is the lack of free loungers and umbrellas. Pretty sure more and more of the cruise ship centre loungers are being commandeered by the locals for pay per use. The locals charge $20-30 for 2 chairs with umbrella. If you’re not one of the first 200 or so off the ship you are paying. Margaritaville has tons of loungers to use but with 2 ships in port (7000 cruisers) even they were hard to come by. The local Turks Head beer was great!
Amber Cove is beautiful. We did the Monkeyland excursion followed by a couple hours at Coco Cana, the free resort at the cruise port which was great. We left the port at sunset which was nice to see over the mountains.
We had a great stay at Radisson at the Port. We were able to check in a couple hours early which allowed us to book our desired shuttle time for the next morning. Ron Jon’s in Cocoa Beach is a must see! Head to Grills or Fishlips the night before for great food and to watch the ships sail off.
