We enjoyed our cruise with our family, all staff was very courteous & they always make sure they speak to you. Jen the cruise director was awesome, it seemed like she had clones, she was everywhere we went.... she keeps people engaged & having fun.....

We had FTTF and it went smooth, but we also noticed it was going fast & smooth for others, I believe since they have made the arrival times staggar it helps from being crazy when you arrive....

Food and Dining

Food was OK, I believe it was better the last time we were on the Elations 1-1/2 year ago. It also seemed to take longer in the dining room than usual to get each course of our meal. We didn't get out of dining until almost 8pm every night which meant we had to go to the 9:30 showing instead of 7:30. But we still had a great time and enjoyed the MDR. Guy's burger & fries were also good....

we did some trivia (of course never did win, but we enjoy it) husband says he is gonna get a ship on a stick one of these cruises, lol family made it to Karaoke one night and it was fun...

Dennis was our room steward for room E42 and he always had what we needed, he and the other staff we always helpful & polite, making sure they spoke & said hello and wished us a good day or night...
The cruise director Jen was awesome, she was everywhere, my son-in-law made the comment that he hopes they pay her good because she is worth it, she was everywhere introducing others as well as emcee most of the shows we saw, never did see her not smiling....
Ship Quality

They were always cleaning going on throughout the day, we were amazed how clean the floors every where were, the reason we noticed is because my granddaughter always pulled her shoes off and went barefoot everywhere on the ship and the bottom of her feet never showed any signs of walking barefoot....
Cabin / Stateroom

The room was comfortable, we usually get balcony, but since we wanted ajoining cabins with our daughter we got ocean view, so we were not sure what to expect not being able to step outside for fresh air whenever we wanted too. But it wasnt a problem did not feel claustrophobic, Dennis did a good job of keeping our room clean and always making sure we had fresh towels....
Ship tip
More than one piece of advice but.... Go on with attitude to enjoy no matter what, customer service is there to help when you ask, be polite, this is an older smaller ship so you can expect some things to show some wear, but not a reason to let it ruin your cruise, focus on good not bad....
water park was big, we stay in the splash pad area because of my granddaughter, we did enjoy walking around seeing the waterfalls, seeing the shops....we didnt do any tours...
We enjoyed our time on the beach with family, water undertow was really strong, but was fun... was dissapointed that the free chairs with umbrella are on the back 2 rows, so you can't hardly even see the water from where you are sitting, we thought they were all free, but we were told that it cost 40.00 for the chairs with the umbrellas on the front row. We walked around checking out all the shops. We didnt go into Magaritaville area because we spent the day at amber cove at the water park & didnt really want to do that again, we didnt do any tours...
We took our time getting off, we check out the pics from the night before, we went to have breakfast in MDR then went back to the room to finish getting our bags together to get off, the line to get off moved rather fast, everything went smooth...
