My family had a blast on the Elation , food was great service was great everyone loved my 11 1/2 month old she made their day . Ship was rocky even while mid ship on floor 5 which was 2 below the main floor, will bring prescription patches next Cruise .

Review summary

Over all the cruise was great I bit rocky it affected my husband . Amber cove we loved the waterfalls. Halloween costume contest was fun ! This oct 28 cruise was great not many kids which was nice . However if you want to sit in hot tub with out kids jumping on you go to serenity It’s 21 and up . Everyone was polite and friendly . Oh and check your luggage wish we had done that .

Cabin was great , it was ideal when traveling with a 11 month old , our balcony did have a inch of sitting water on it i asked for them to soak it up which they did . It’s not as roomy as the valor balcony tho .

Ship tip

Check luggage when leaving ship . You will get your luggage the same time as people taking your luggage off .

We did the falls in DR excursion with the ship , it was a blast ,35 min hike in the jungle to get to the falls bring a additional water if you can you will need it . And old tennis shoes or boots ! Falls so much fun and beautiful! Will do again Blondie Blondie was our bus driver , our guides were great too ! Check out the shops before getting back on bus to go back to amber cove ,wish we had . Bus had ac and WiFi and you were able to rent a locker for 7 $ the locker key was zip tied to your life jacket .

We just did Margaritaville which had a huge pool and pricy drinks , my cousin went to beach and we’re haggled to pay for the free umbrellas . Before we left I was in a shop my husband was with my daughter, he was asked if he wanted umbrella or chair then asked if he wanted reffer or blow ! He was like no thank you . This was in the area where all of the shops are . Next time we will take excursion away from this area with the ship .
