If you dont want to deal with large crowds, I highly recommend sailing on the Carnival Elation. I've been on her twice.

Embarkation was a breeze. We were on the boat within 20min or less. Faster to the Fun played a huge part in that. The waiting area was jammed PACKED!

The MDR food was good. The waiters were so awesome! The only thing that I didn't like was how they entertained us every night. It was very dry. They had the waiter sing a slow song. The last night in the MDR was weird. Usually the energy is high but because they kept having this same waiter sing, took the moral down.

The DJ was great. Ive been on numerous cruises and didn't realize they have the DJ come to the Serenity deck and have an adult only party. That was REALLY nice! I've been on this ship twice and didn't know that.

The ship was super clean. I love the layout.
Cabin / Stateroom

We were in U10 (porthole) in the front of the ship. I will now ONLY stay in the front. Super quiet. I rarely saw any kids. The only thing is, being in the front you are next to the ship anchor and when we dock it gets loud.
Ship tip
If you want peace and quiet, stay in the front of the ship.
I don't know why I thought your singing in Dining room comments was so funny, probably cause I can picture it. Lol. But good to hear about Serenity having it's own functions! Thanks.
