Review summary

Hour cruise was everything we expected and more. We only wish that more over our family could come with us but with the small group we had it was perfect from beginning to end.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food as waus was amazing! We had such a wonderful dining experience. The serving staff was so pleasant and nice and they always entertained us. Only one person in our group asked to send something back but I think what she ordered was an acquired taste. I ordered the same thing and it was amazing!

Service as always on any of carnival's ships has been amazing and top notch. We had absolutely no complaints!

Ship Quality

The ship, our state rooms, everything was incredibly clean and impeccable.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin was Clean and comfortable. It was a little bit smaller than our last Kevin, but our last cabin on our last cruise had a couch inside of it. Are back Room on the other hand was quite large which we were happy with that period overall our experience with our state Room was great.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
On carnivals and getting off the ship was not an issue. Is always very hairy and people lose their tempers when you're actually trying to leave a port. I would not blame that on Carmel, but the port authority does need to get their stuff together. People just need to have a little more patience, we're all going to the same place and that is to the parking lot.

Traveler Photos

Amber coat was amazing! We got to travel around that part of the islands. While we docked and Amber cove and port was grades, we took an excursion out to Puerto Plata and it was awesome! Grand Turk was beautiful! The water was so clear and clean, we didn't doing excursion for this stop but we just simply hung out on the beach and went swimming in the water. Absolutely beautiful, loves the port and I hope to come back again and this time take a tour of the island.
