Review summary

This was my second sailing and I did not like the smaller ship size. The staff and food is definitely up to Carnivals standards, however felt just about every wave. It was hard to sleep on the smaller ship. The engine room felt like it was right below the casino. A very obnoxious vibration and knocking all 5 nights. Other than that had a great time! Already booked my next one, but on a larger ship. Prolly staying away from the smaller ones from now on.

We loved Elation. But I agree about the motion and engine noise. We had a medical emergency and had to turn back to Nassau one night and then try and make up lost time after leaving Nassau. Of course we were at the back of the ship and boy you could certainly feel and hear the vibration of the engines and the whole ship was shaking since we were near its max speed.
