Review summary

Overall a great vacation. I would sail on this ship and/or this itinerary again. I do wish carnival would reconsider the drink package and not make everyone in the cabin have to purchase it.

The shows on this ship were much better than some I’ve seen on Carnival ships. Great singers and dancers in the stage shows. I’d have to suggest taking out the rope-swinging number. The stage can’t accommodate an aerialist. That was bad.

Here’s where I was disappointed. This was cruise #16 for me, the majority of those cruises being carnival. The service didn’t not meet my expectations. Our room steward was friendly, but the service by waiters and other personnel was below standard. Not rude, but not great. If they were trying to keep me coming back with their friendly service, they missed the mark. I was disappointed.

Very clean and comfortable. We did have some issues getting the temperature comfortable on the first night. There was only one side/night table in the room and the placement was odd. Also only two small drawers in the closet. Overall spacious enough. Beds were very comfortable and the shower was awesome..great water pressure and very hot water!
