This was my first cruise so I don't have anything to compare it too. I'd like to take another cruise sometime on a different ship as I feel I started out on too small of a boat to give a real opinion of a real experience. It was fun being with my family (we had 4 cabins) and the island experiences were great.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Food was okay. My husband and I tried several times to get an ice cream cone but either the machines weren't working properly or the ice cream was runny.
Coffee machines need to be available closer to state rooms or provide in room.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Spa too expensive. I was hoping to relax in the spa but not at those prices. Pool too small and kids took over the hot tubs on Lido deck. I'll try different size ship next time, too many ppl for such a small ship.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The last day at sea I think the entertainment was non-existent. First day, music on the Lido deck and upbeat atmosphere. By day 5, the service was horrible and no live entertainment.
Children's Programs
3 out of 5
Not much for older kids (14-17). They never swam in pool at all as the younger kids and their parents manipulated the only pool and 2 hot tubs on Lido deck.
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
The safety meeting was a waste. It was very unorganized and ppl were already coming in from pool drinking and very late so the rest of us waiting in lines were not happy. When the demonstration of the life vest was being shown, most people could not see. This could be done better. People that boarded early were already under influence of booze and could care less about protocol. The staff conducting the safety meeting were not organized as to who was doing what. This could be more organized and limiting drinks until the ship sails might help.
Ship Quality

It was okay, but I didn't care for the double elevators at each end having different level capabilities, so we needed to switch elevator banks if we wanted to go higher than 9th floor or use steps and I am on a cane so it was difficult. Only 1 glass elevator worked the entire trip.
Cabin / Stateroom

Everything was great except the smell in the cabin and loud noises from other passenger music and kids running up and down the hallways late at night. I covered the drain in the bathroom which helped but still sewer smell was overpowering at times.
Ship tip
Bring air freshner for bathroom and keep door closed as odor will take over the cabin.
Drinking should have been limited to an hour before sailing. Some people were actually drunk before the ship sailed. I think security should be visible. We had individuals in a cabin down from ours playing profanity music with their door open - you could hear it down the hall it was loud. I complained and it stopped. But kept starting and stopping several days. Also, kids running down the hall above our floor was horrible, and this was 10-11 at night. Security and/or hall monitors could prevent this. Plus, parents should know better anyway. Reminders about behaviors could help, I don't know. Anymore, ppl don't really care about disrupting others.
Villa was great (9 people so they could have provided more snacks including chips and dips). What was provided would be for enough for 3-4 ppl and the Villa was $600. It was still being cleaned when we arrived so we had to wait 30-40 min. to actually occupy the villa.
Nassau was great, we rented a Taxi Van (Elliott) whom was great driver and he gave us a grand tour of the island and sites. Worth the money spent on the 3 hour taxi that accommodated our family of 9.
I started out on this Ship also. The experience for me was so great I couldn't wait to book another cruise. So now I have some cruises under my belt now, and can tell u there is somewhat of a different experience. Some people love the small ships vs some love the big ships. I love the bigger ships because of the Balconies, they are great to have.
For what it is worth, bigger size does not mean you always get best experience. Its the crew, the ports and voyage itself that makes it. Smaller ships tend to have a more personalized experience.
