Review summary

For the most it was great. A good first cruise. I wouldn’t do the Bahamas again. But I would do another one.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
We did the early dining. After the first 2 days the quality went down so we were disappointed. We also sat by the main door. Our table was on time every night yet we were consistently served last and of course the last out of the dining room. Just a lot of waiting. The staff was friendly enough, not sure why the holdup. I probably wouldn’t do the set dining times again because of this. We missed many of the evening activities because we were waiting on dinner.

Pizza Pirate

Never had any pizza. Severely understaffed for demand.

Entertainment

Entertainment was ok. There really wasn’t much that interested us. We did go the art auction our last day at sea. Unless you really are looking for art and willing to spend a couple grand I’d find something else to do.

Ship tip

All the dining is at the back of the ship, so unless you want to walk slot after a day of excursions I’d get a room at the back of the ship.

Nassau, Bahamas

If I want to Nassau again I would do excursions. I found the shop employees pushy and annoying. They don’t take no for an answer and will try to pull you into their shops. I would advise avoiding the straw mall. These women are very pushy as well. If you do go expect to be hassled and do not buy at the entrances. They are rude and overpriced. Negotiate everything. All the shops inside basically have the same things and usually cheaper.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

They do have shops on the island that do not take the card so take cash.
