Review summary

All in All my first cruise was everything I dreamed of! Only regret is that we didn't get the Cheers package. Those cocktails can add up, but they are soooo good. Can't say enough about the crew. Didn't have any bad experience except at guest services (ironic). I lost my cell phone on the ship and they seemed really uncaring. I kind of expected them to take my information, so they could contact me if one was found, but they told me to keep checking back. A special shout out to our cabin steward, Yudha, and the entire dining room staff. They made us feel very special!

Very well organized and didn't take long at all.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate in the main dining room most evenings and we never had a bad meal. The dining room crew was great! The maitre d, Darko, made us feel like royalty and Albert knew all of our names the first night. After I ordered coffee after my meal the first night, I never had to ask for it again. Albert had it ready for me as soon as I finished my main course.

Onboard Activities

Spent lots of time in the casino.

Entertainment

Tons of fun. My favorite was the Love and Marriage show and bingo. The crew made it so special.

Service and Staff

The staff was amazing. Yudha, our cabin steward, was like a part of the family. There were 16 of us traveling together in 8 different staterooms. He new everyone of our names and could even keep up with were everyone was. If I lost track of someone, all I needed to do was ask Yudha and he could point me in the right direction. I feel like he should be on my Christmas Card list!

Cabin / Stateroom

Impeccably clean. The beds were very comfy. I was surprised at how much storage was in the cabin. Tons of room for unpacking.

Ship tip

There is a lot of discussion on line about decorating cabin doors. We didn't and to be honest I thought it was kind of a cheesey idea. However, if your group is traveling in multiple staterooms, you might want to consider it. After knocking on the wrong cabin door a couple of times, I wish we had!

Ports of call

Jacksonville, Florida

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

Gorgeous beach, but a bit crowded. We probably should've moved further down the beach, but some in the group didn't want to walk to far.

Nassau, Bahamas

Do not eat in the Hard Rock Cafe! Probably should've gone farther into the city.

Should have earned free drinks in the casino if you were in there much. Haven't paid for a drink in 3 years. Now my free drinks card is waiting on me when I board.

All adults in cabin have to purchase the package which really makes it too high cost for us.

Did you drink more than $500? If not package is not worth it. Remember it doesn't include drinks off ship or the specialty shots they bring around at dinner time.
