Review summary

We had a great cruise. Managed to only gain about 4 pounds and have lost that already. The refurbished ship looks much better. Staff was excellent.

Embarkation

Not as fast an last time out of JAX, but not bad. Getting into the parking lot was a lot slower than it should have been (They only had one lane open so traffic was backed up. Tip is to prepay the parking so you don't have to wait for the staff doesn't have to make change.

Food and Dining

We ate in the main Dining Room every night and in the mid ship restaurant for breakfast/brunch. Service in the main dining room was slow the first day - - our waiter was all by himself. Was better the rest of the trip when he had some help.

Onboard Activities

Really enjoyed the Serenity deck.

Entertainment

The only show we took in was the Love and Marriage show. It is getting pretty raunchy. Definitely getting in the R rating category.

Staff was uniformly pleasant and efficient. Our Cabin steward was great.

Ship Quality

This was our 9th cruise on a Fantasy Class ship so had no problems getting around the ship. She came out of dry dock about a month before our cruise, and it showed! Adding 36+ cabins makes it a little more crowded, but not as bad as Sunshine. We like the Fantasy Class better than the bigger ships.

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was clean, well kept. Only complaint is the minor noise coming from the Fitness center right above this cabin. While not really loud, it was consistently there every evening until about two in the morning.
