Review summary

Loved the cruise-will do it again! The seas were calm, the beds are comfortable. In fact, I am purchasing two pillows from your Carnival website because they were super soft and I had no problems with my allergies.

Embarkation

It was fine but the only question I have is why bother to have an "appointment "? The lines were long and no one ever asked if I had an appointment. I just waited like everyone else (which is ok, don't mind. But don't blow smoke at me with an "appointment " which makes it sound like I won't wait long.)

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
You have two outstanding waiters in the Imagination dining room- Siri and Antonio Jr! Couldn't have been nicer, or more professional!

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Serenity lounge is the only way to go!

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Enjoyed everything we attended, especially the comic, Just June! Would also like to give high praise to our cruise director, Kevin, for all his enthusiasm but mostly for the Military Appreciation function he held in the Cole Porter Lounge. He is the hidden treasure on the Elation! Please give him a raise and promote him as high as he can go- Carnival, you won't regret it!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward Idwan was always helpful and remembered our names the entire cruise! Our room was exceptionally clean and we are grateful for all his hard work! Also again, Kevin, and BK, were delightful and need to be recognized!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The one thing I would add is deck numbers by the stairs (we like to use the stairs for the exercise since we were eating such good food!) All the restrooms were really clean. Also, could you please have one treadmill at a window on the end that doesn't have a tv blocking the magnificent view?! I know the young ones want all their tech but the ocean is just too beautiful and I would have loved an unobstructed view- just a thought!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Loved it! Next time would love to stay in a Suite!

Ship tip

The bartenders will share recipes with you- just ask!

I live here and I love it! Lol

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

5 out of 5
This is a gorgeous island, next time we will try an excursion but we just wanted the beach this time! Food was delicious.

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
We walked around a total of 7 miles seeing all the sights and the locals couldn't have been more friendly! Never felt on guard because all the local police were out patrolling and looked so professional in their uniforms! The Straw Market was disappointing because it's the same items all throughout.

Easy. And Kevin was right, you should attend his presentation because that's why it was so easy.

Kevin is definitely the best Cruise Director Carnival has. Sailed with him 3 times and he is so entertaining and so sweet and personable
