Review summary

The staff was very rude only me house keeper was nice food was not so great same food everyday on lido deck and it was cold room service take 2 hour would not ever ride this boat again.

I loved the Elation, Kevin is a hoot and we met Joey in the buffet dinning he was the best. Look him up and tell him stone cold said Hi... that's what he called my husband. any we went 2 weeks ago and had a great time.

I am sailing on the Elation next week and very excited to break way from life for a long weekend. I find the older ships have good sized cabins. I just love to cruise!!! Every ship on carnival ex JAX has been a great experience!

We were on the Elation last week and had a FANTASTIC time. The staff went above and beyond to make sure your vacation was perfect. The food was great and entertaining was great as well!! We're ready to book another already. Savio on the pool deck was AWESOME!!!!

We were probably on the same cruise but our experience was quite the opposite! We thought the food was way above average for a ship and the staff--waiters, steward and bar servers were very friendly and most accommodating. Since there are at least 7 buffets and the main DR the food can be completely different every day! The Mexican night was lots of fun!! The only things we missed were room refrigerators and hair dryers. The ship is going in for an overhaul this summer and hopefully they will update the bathrooms in the rooms. Can't wait to go back!!

I loved the Elation too! We just went in April. Food was excellent and all the staff were very friendly to us. Sorry you had a bad experience. Even room service was fast and the best BLT my husband has had...he had one every night.

I agree with rgbenning- this reviewer had 3/5 stars for every port without justifying comments. I do not understand people's need to poor mouth... BTW, I was on the Elation last September, and I didn't experience any of the complaints the reviewer spoke of...
