good for the price, but not great. We enjoyed ourselves but food wasn't as good as expected, there was a lack of dancing choices for 50's couple, and cigarette smoke was irritating.
Embarkation

No issues... just a 5 story climb.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Buffet generally poor... Late seating in dining room, and many foods appe ared to be leftovers from early seating... Baked potatoes way overdone, lava cake solid all the way through, etc. Fish was usually frozen and smelly, especially sea bass. We wondered if booze was watered down, as I usually feel 4-5 drinks, and I didn't feel 7-8 drinks on this ship.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Pool is far too small, but we knew that going in. Always something to do.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
median age on ship appeared to be about 50+. Only dancing available was line dancing and hip hop, no place to swing dance, 2 step, shag, or blues dance with a partner. Casino smelled like the ashtray from hell, time to join the 21st century and move smoking outdoors.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Generally good, although dang near impossible to get a drink during dinner. Hint: Tip, tip, tip... We brought $40 in ones, and burned through them.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
It is a 30 year old boat. It is not bad, but it's a bit hodge-podge with no coherent theme.
Cabin / Stateroom

Bed was comfortable, storage was adequate. Window was nice.
Parking good, but pricey. Went to beach and drove down A1A. Had dinner night before cruise at Safe Harbor, which was crowded, and limited parking... But delicous and well worth the price.
party of 6 adults... we walked to Junkanoo beach, had some 4 for $10 bahama mama's, and waded for a while. Then walked to Fort Charlotte ($5 admission). After touring the fort, we walked down to Arawak Cay/The Fish fry... Ate conch fritters and cracked conch at Goldies... Excellent. Caught a cab, driver took us to rum distillery, rum cake factory, waited for us at both places, then took us back to ship. $60 total for 6 people, well worth the $10/person. Also took us through "ghetto' (his word) to show us how locals lived. Did not feel threatened or at risk at all during walk or cab ride.
Wind was too high for the tenders... it was a fun day at sea. But, they got us to Freeport for a 4 hour stop... which was useless. Nothing but junk shopping in walking distance, and bus to a beach nets an hour of beach time for $50 a couple... And, because we went to Freeport, we had to travel extra fast back to Jax, going 23 knots home, vs 10 knots out... Made a very bumpy ride, maybe 1/3 of ship was seasick.
Outvof 7 cruises ecstasy was our least favorite and main reason was the food wasnt very good. If driving i recommend people drive to Charleston the sunshine is 10 times better.
