It was a good cruise. I would probably not do this ship again, but it's not because of the ship itself. I think I'm over the small ships personally.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We had faster to the fun so everything went smooth
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The food was hit or miss. Guys was good. The Blue Iguana was excellent! The MDR was so so. The brisket was everything! The rest was just ok. The staff didn't know what was going on half of the time, but they were all pleasant and kind.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
I didn't do many of the activities. They were not interesting to me.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
The shows were okay. The dancing was great but the singers, not so much. I wish Carnival would get better shows. I'm tired of the playlists.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Our room steward Mark was great! I still don't get how they remember our names! The cruise director Alex was amazing! I would definitely love to go on another cruise with him! The MDR staff were okay. The service was slow. I'm talking 2 hours slow. They didn't know what was going on half of the time. There were a few nights when we had to leave in the middle of mains to catch the 7:30 show and we arrived at 6:00. The staff was very nice though.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The ship was old but very clean. The smell was undesirable at times. I was spraying poopourii in the toilet after every flush and putting the lid down. That helped in the room, but the hallways were terrible sometimes.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Great cabin. It had plenty of space. There was not a couch, but there was a small chair. There was a blowdrier. Cabin was clean and the balcony was great!
Ship tip
Remember that this is an older ship. Things aren't perfect, but it's a beautiful ship.
We did the top 10 of Nassau excursion. The tour guides name was Leonard Ferguson. This was a great tour and I would recommend. I just wish we could have went to the straw market. John Watlings Distillery and Atlantis were great though!
Disembarking was fast and easy with faster to the fun. We even had to go to customs and was off the ship in 20 minutes. Without the customs visit it would have been 10 minutes tops. We also carried our own luggage.
I missed Half Moon Cay because I didn't feel well. I will definitely try not to make that mistake again. Nassau was also a good time. You do you and I'll do me.
