I would definitely cruise with this ship again. Different port next time around if possible or if not, make sure I have a little more money with me, haha. It’s needed

Coming from a Houstonian that cruises from Galveston, Jacksonville port was a dream in comparison. The lines moved faster, the lines were shorter and it wasn’t hot. That, I’m sure had to do with it being December instead of July or August.

I give this ship 5 stars for the food because I thought it was very light and tasty. What I ate never felt heavy to me and it had a good taste.
Onboard Activities

The only thing I did in the way of activities were a movie in the starlight lounge and karaoke. Both were entertaining and I wasn’t expecting them to see a movie since I was told and read that they didn’t have a movie screen outside so I was very surprised.

My steward Mr. Amin was very very good at making sure I had everything I needed. My waiter and his team, Mr, Ohio and his team Mr. Margo and Ms. Janine took care of our food and drink needs. I thought they genuinely were happy to see me. So many names to remember they had no problem calling me by name. Very impressed because I would have called someone by the wrong name, lol, Easily.

For this to be the older of all the carnival ships, I thought it was in nice shape.

Size was expected, comfort was what you made it and the cabin was always clean.
Ship tip
Please go in with an open mind. So many people get disappointed because they have a thought of how this and that should be. Enjoy it for what it is and I believe you will have a better time and less judgmental.
The waves were very strong and seemed to knock a lot of people over, lol. The sun was brutal but the beach itself was great. Cabbage beach was just as crowded as the more popular beach. The drinks were strong and very good.
Again I am giving 5 stars based on my experience. To each his and her own but I loved P.C. Very expensive but the beach and the people were nice. The live music was also great to hear.
I'll be on her in 11 days! I'm glad to see a good review. So many people complain that the ship is old. Do some research people before booking. All it takes is a quick Google search. 😊 Glad you had fun!
We had the same great experience on the Ecstasy in Sept. It was our first cruise. Loved it so much were sailing on the Ecstasy again in 16 days. 😊 Thks for sharing your experience too 😊
