Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Decor is old and needs upgrade and the dining room is too dark, not good lighting but food is yummy, better than Carnival Elation.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Not too good, it's a small ship so there's not a lot to.do, I wish they have a dance/disco party on the pool deck for everybody.
Entertainment

Shows were good" the playlist was very good and Larry Omaha was funny.
Service and Staff

It was great, it was only 1 night qhen we were sitted on a table where our waiter was indian (from India) and he was not friendly and was kindof rushing us but it's okay he is probably tired so we understand.
Ship Quality

There was only 1 wall socket in our room so charging our phones was challenging, and there is no mini fridge in the room and the hair dryer was not working.
Cabin / Stateroom

It was cleaned everyday but it's too small for family of 4. Only 1 wall socket to charge and no mini fridge. Hair dryer is not.working.
Ship tip
Know that there is no mini fridge inside the room and only 1 wall socket to charge your phone.
I don't like princess cays for the ff. Reasons; sand flies (got a lot of bites in my legs), rocky not powdery sand, and the buffet lunch has free giant disgusting flies on top of the cookies and fruits and food that the crew just stared at. Didn't do anything. Then on the tables, hard to focus eating with lots of flies trying to land on your food. You need to have 2 hands, one hand to eat the other to karate chop the flies!
I picked up a power strip off of Amazon for 10 bucks. Had four outlets and 2 USB ports. Really worked out great. Make sure u get the ones that are cruise ship friendly. (without a surge protector). We are going on the Ecstasy again in January 😊 👍
Carnival is finally adding more outlets on their newer ships. Not sure if they ever will be able to retrofit the older ships. When this ship was built, charging electronics was not necessary (hard to believe there was such a time). At least the food was good.
