Review summary

We had a wonderful time! Love cruising and love Carnival. We are already booked for the new Mardi Gras next November and hope to be able to do a short cruise between now and then.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Embarkation was okay but we have had better.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was good for the most part and didn’t do specialty restaurant.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Mostly did serenity deck and hot tub but it wasn’t hot enough.

Entertainment

Did not attend any shows because we had two disabled people and when dinner was over we were tired and went to cabin to relax.

Children's Programs

No children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Room steward was excellent and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship design was fine except didn’t like having to go up to deck 9 and walk to other end to go down to deck 8 for dinner. Also had to go through a meeting room to get to Serenity deck.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The suite was comfortable and had plenty of room for electric wheelchair to turn around. However it did have a large pole that wouldn’t have been missed at all unless it was holding the ceiling up.

Ports of call

Jacksonville, Florida

4 out of 5
Did not do an excursion. The port was easy to get in and out of but the ramp to board the ship was trying for elderly lady using a walker because it was 7 decks high.

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
Did the Blue Lagoon beach day. It was very difficult for my son who is in an electric wheelchair. There were no ramps and people had to pick up his chair then help him over about a two foot wall. Not handicapped friendly and they told us it was accessible.

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
Beautiful place, is handicapped accessible and enjoyed it very much. Did not eat lunch there but went back on ship.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
We have been to better ports but the process was fine.
