This is a beautiful bay, but exploring on your own is not a good idea in Jamaica. Even though there were a lot of visible security personnel, we weren't comfortable on the streets.

We took a tour from an "unapproved" guide along with others from the ship and it went well. We also took an authorized excursion to snorkel at the barrier reef. The "unapproved' tours are by individuals who apparently coordinate their pricing at $20, but will negotiate for groups and will reduce the price to $10 after most of the passengers have made decisions about what they are doing.
