Review summary

This was our first cruise and it was nice, but overall I would recommend another boat with maybe stabilizers, as the boat was very rocky. The staff was very nice and accomodating, the food was OK, the boat was dated as far as anemities, and what you would call the main swimming pool was a joke. It was approx 10 X 16 feet for 2000 passengers. They did have two other small round pools with a couple of hot tubs. It wasn't horrible or anything, but would definately spend a little extra money for a larger ship and maybe a few more port stops. It was a little boring being on the ship with the same activities for two full days at sea. I did like the fact that it was five days instead of seven.

The rooms were very small as I know that they usually are, but their was five of us ages 13 and up, so once they put the roll away bed in our room you could hardly walk.

Pros: The entertainment/shows

Cons: The rockiness of the boat

Recommends Carnival Ecstasy? No.
