Review summary

Overall, we enjoyed our cruise being with our daughter and adult grandchildren. We definitely ate too much but enjoyed trying different kinds of food. This is the first cruise we had in the summer, don’t know if I will do it again, just to hot, like the fall better.. Next cruise is in September

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Once inside terminal, it took 20-25 minutes and was on the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We went to the MDR every night, I thought the food was excellent, the service was quick. We were there maybe an hour some nights to and hour and fifteen minutes on others. The waiter’s did perform a couple of times. We didn’t try any of the specialty restaurant on this trip.

The Gathering Lido Restaurant

4 out of 5

Mostly ate here for breakfast on port day’s and for lunch, again had long lines, especially for breakfast if you wanted eggs or an omelette

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We participated in a lot of trivia, corn hole, and other activities that were going on the ship. Pools were too crowded on sea days so mostly got in the pools on port days when we got back from an excursion

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We made it to all the shows except one. I have seen Flick before but watch it again with family. The 80’s show was very good and so was the American rock. Both were about 45 minutes of nonstop music. The violinist’s (3 women) were outstanding and the Duo Brothers were too. All the musicians had good crowds and were good to listen to. MarQ, the CD, was awesome and kept things moving on.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
No complaints with our room steward Maria Grace. She did an awesome job, very friendly, always greeted you with a smile. Room was kept very clean. Our waiter’s were just as good, called you by your first name when you came and got your food to you quickly as they could

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
This is the second time on the Dream, no problem in moving around trying to find places. The crew doing the best they can in cleaning everything everyday, ship beginning to show some wear and tear but still looks good.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was an interior room, very clean, and enough room for both of us, especially with all the stuff my wife brought to decorate with. Beds weren’t too bad, still comfortable

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
It took longer to disembarked the self assist people than the rest of the ship. Once our zone was called, it took maybe 15 minutes to walk off the ship, get a porter, grab our luggage, and out the terminal. Maybe another 15 minutes before getting to our vehicle.
