Filled out a questionnaire in regards to potential exposure to the coronavirus. Everything else was a breeze.

The food seemed to lack flavor on many occasions in different dining venues. Many times it was cold. Usually I have to stop myself from over eating, this time I ate because I was hungry. Which I guess is a good thing🤷🏻‍♀️.

Didn’t feel like there were as many fun times as there normally is.

Janae the Cruise director was terrible, every chance she had she would sing. Seems like her first choice was to be a singer second was cruise director. She wasn’t around much and when she was she was always late to start the show. She seemed fake. Tony and Diane seemed great at first until they sang the same songs the next night, and the next, and the next.

Disembarkation

Was told disembarkation would start at 9 for people who put out their luggage. Self assist was to start at 8. Self assist didn’t start until 9, even then that took forever for the floors to be called, 10:15 and still the luggage tag numbers weren’t called.

We definitely made the best of it, and enjoyed our time relaxing and having a great time. This definitely won’t be our last cruise. As for the cruise Director honestly she was the worst we have ever experienced in our opinion and we have been to 15 other cruises that have been from decent to awesome cruise directors. This lady wasn’t as involved as others and when she was around she broke out singing and was always late anywhere from a few minutes to 20 minutes while everyone is just standing around waiting for her. They had a Guy named Alex do the hairy Chest contest and he was fun,entertaining , and got people engaged which that is what a CD should do. Again just our opinion, especially since most of the fun activities include the CD.

CD’s always have a lot going on. They are the busiest people on the ship. They try to be great hosts.

Funny We guessed about the singer part correctly. Thanks for the info. We filled out the survey and definitely let Carnival know how we felt.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I recently learned that Janae was a singer on the ships and is a new CD. Hopefully she will get better or move on to something else. Be sure to include your thoughts in the review sent by Carnival so they can decide if she is a good fit as CD. Happy you were able to get the break you needed. Wish we lived close enough to a port to do so!🛳
