Overall everything was great! This was a short, last minute, quick getaway for us. Carnival has never disappointed us.

The food in the MDR was very slow and then when it arrive, it was cold. We weren’t impressed at all! The steakhouse was always very good and service was impeccable! We ate there 3 out of the 4 nights. The only real beef I have with Carnival is their drink package... the 15 drink limit is ridiculous, especially on sea days. This is the only cruise line we travel on that has a drink limit. I feel that as long as you’re not being an ass, you should be able to drink as much as you want if you purchase the drink package.

We have never had any issues with the staff on any cruises we’ve been on and this staff was no different. Always attentive and ready to help.

Everywhere we went was always clean and the crew was always going around keeping everything clean.
Cabin / Stateroom

We were in cabin 7465, an aft facing balcony. The cabin was great for the 2 of us and the balcony is bigger and view off the back was amazing! There was plenty of storage and the bed was just fine. The only thing is... if you don’t like to feel the ship moving, do not stay in the back. We always had movement unless we were docked.
This time was different... since they’re having issues with the gangway in Galveston we had to disembark on deck 0. It was raining the morning we arrived and they allowed us to stay in our cabin until our deck was called. So, considering Mother Nature and the gangway issues, it went as smooth as possible until we got to customs... they only had 4 lanes open for the entire ship, not good. They know how many people are getting off the ship and they should plan accordingly with their personal.
Holy crap 15 drinks a day I wouldn't remember the cruise :-))) when you see the way some people behave with alcohol thank goodness they have a limit ....
