Review summary

I was very disappointed with the service in the main dining room. The staff were covering 3 times as many guests as any other ship I have been on, which led to long waits to be served and mistakes in orders almost every night. Avoid Pig & Anchor, the food was absolutely terrible. I’m surprised that Guy Fieri would put his name on it! After this cruise I’ve decided that I’ll stick with Royal Caribbean!

If I was cruising for the food, I would stay home and eat at the restaurants in town. Sure would save some money. I go to relax on the deck, watch the blue water, get waited on hand & foot. No cooking, no cleaning!

We sailed the Dream in early May and there were no complaints. The service in the main dining room was excellent. Did not have to wait on our order.

To each his own, but I don’t cruise for the food, I cruise for the itinerary and relaxation. As long as I’m not the one cooking and serving it, I’m good with most anything. The OP must have a fabulous job and / or life at home to be on a cruise and complain about the food and service.

We also had excellent, attentive service when we sailed Carnival Dream in May 2017. Our waiter, assistant waiter and head waiter were also accommodating and entertaining. Perhaps you just had a "fluky" experience? Better luck on your next cruise!

So sorry that your dining experience was not the best. We had great service at the main dining room when we sailed the Dream. Can't speak about the other place as I did not check it out.
