Review summary

i will be doing this cruise again, the Dream is an Awesome ship with a ton of things to do. The Flying Scotchman was the best cruise director we have had. the port that we did get to were very beautiful, we were chased by Hurricane Nate and had to skip Belize. Carnival did a great job keeping us safe and informed. Never did i feel scared or like we were going to have problems.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
the Carnival Dream is an awesome ship. We were on the ship in the shortest time yet. our check in time was 1030-11 and we were on the boat by 11:10am. awesome job

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
this was my 4th cruise and i have been on 3 different ships and this is by far my favorite. the additional hot tubs, food places and bar locations keep people separated. the lines were never that long to get anything you needed. there were fewer staff on this ship than the others but you could not tell by the service.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
there was something to do at all times. very well organised.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
the entertainment was defiantly top notch

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
everyone was so friendly. very nice and happy people.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
the ship was kept in a very clean state. i have nothing bad to say about this ship and its design.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
this cabin is awesome if you want to see where you are going. the layout on the carnival webpage is wrong, this cabin DOES have a sofa. the additional sofa was a great surprise.

Ship tip

wear comfortable shoes. lol. just like every one of these long ships. Use deck 4 and 5 to get from front to back makes the boat seam smaller as you are not just walking down a small, long hallway.

Ports of call

New Orleans, Louisiana

4 out of 5
we were not there long, but the port is a little confusing to walk to.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
best disembarkation we have had yet. under 30 minutes from our door of the cabin, to the outside of the port. customs was fast and easy.
