Review summary
This is our second cruise with Carnival and our third time cruising. The dining room and stateroom staff are awesome. Where else to try exotic food like alligator, shark and snail than the cruise? Now, I can proudly say they taste like chicken. Although our stateroom is small, we did not spend much time in the room since there are so many activities to do. The nightly entertainment was great. The time spent at the ports are just right. While in Cozumel, we took the taxi to get to downtown & did some shopping. While in Belize, we did our own excursion to Altun Han Mayan and Belize city. The beach was gorgeous in Roatan, Honduras. We rented a golf cart in Costa Maya and drove around the island. We went to the less visited part of the beach. It was nice but didn't have much time to stay. My daughter will be 18 in August so was a little bit older than the other kids in 02 Club but she still met some teens there. It was nice seeing people dress up for formal night. We were teamed up with two other families with teen sons so it worked out for us. It was really sad to come back home. One of my regrets was I did not exchange info with our dining mates. One thing I don't like about the trip was the fun book they were selling for $25. It was a waste of money.Ship experiences

Ship tip
Do not buy the fun book they are selling for $25 which contains coupons at destinations. They are a waste of money. Some of the coupons require purchase and some give you cheap free things. They sold this on one of the seminars about shopping on the shore. It's not as good as they advertise them to be. DO NOT BUY THIS.
