Review summary
This is a very worthwhile cruise to take if you enjoy an opportunity to experience a truly tropical vacation especially in the winter months. There is plenty to do on the ship alone though the ship activities are geared to appeal to young famillies and the under 50 set. The tone of the cruise is set by the heavy rythmes of the now generation sadly to the exclusion of those passengers in the 50+ bracket. The on board shows feature lavish costumes and stage settings with exeptional dance routines. Unfortunately the revved up sound system results in the distortion of the voices of the two talented featured vocalists,particularily at the higher ranges of their voices. We were more than pleased with the accomodations afforded by our balcony room. The queen+ bed was very comfortable and our concierge made two visits per day to assure things were fresh and ready for a good night's rest.Finally the food was very tasty for the most part especially in the evening restaurants.Ship experiences
