Review summary

This was the carnival dream. While the ship itself is nice, it seems that they have taken a ship that would cruise 2000 or so people and added rooms for 2000 more but did not add any more amenities. If you do not like lines or crowds then i would not go here. If they would have added more things to do this would have been nice cruise. Overall we will not cruise this ship again. Nor do i recommend it. With long slow lines, sometimes poor service, overcrowding it does not make sense to cruise on this ship. After 6 cruises I can safely and honestly say this cruise was the worst ever, and I hate to say this.

Food and Dining

The sit down restaurant had good food. But only nice thing i can say about them. Long lines\, late open\, and slow to very slow service. Also this is first time in 10 years of cruising where i have had attitude from a server ( lunch sitting area).

Entertainment

The actual entertainment was as good as any cruise we have been to. Not as varied as i would have liked. The main show area is small for so many people.

Service and Staff

It seemed staff was overworked with large amount of people on ship. it was rare to find a friendly face in the staff\, with exception of staff in the general food area. Our cabin staff were great. Always freindly.

Ship Quality

This is a ship with over 4000 guests\, but seemed to have amenities from a ship of half its size. There should be more or larger pools for example. The back pool was always wall to wall people and full of sunscreen at end of day. The hot tubs were nice and well kept.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Stateroom was clean and kept clean very well. No problems here.

Pros: food was good

Cons: Slow service in dining room\, long lines\, not enough pools\, clean pools more often\, open dining room at time stated not later\,

Recommends Carnival Dream? No.
